Kerri MacDonald is a Canadian visual editor and writer known for her experimental storytelling.
INSTAGRAM | EDITORIAL LEAD, DESIGN Kerri leads editorial for the Design team at Instagram, overseeing the publication of Instagram-first storytelling about designers, architects and artists around the world. Using all of Instagram's surfaces, from IGTV to Reels, the team strives to tell the stories of those who are designing for a more inclusive, sustainable world. As a core member of the Brand Design team, Kerri's work extends to art curation for Instagram's global offices and in-product creative. This role calls on a range of skills Kerri has developed throughout her career, including art direction; interviewing and writing; editing both text and images; assigning photographers and videographers; social strategy; and image research. THE NEW YORK TIMES | PHOTOGRAPHY, WRITING AND SOCIAL Kerri is known for her work launching and editing @nytimes, the core Instagram account for The New York Times.
